Located to the right of St Louis Cathedral, the presbytery (1813) was originally home to the bishops of Louisiana. It is now a museum with an extensive exhibition on the colourful history of the Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The museum also presents a host of extravagant and colourful exhibits, including torches, costumes, feather headdresses etc.
