The village flanking Old Faithful is the park's most commercial, with massive parking lots and numerous buildings constructed overlooking the geyser. Old Faithful Inn is the world's largest log building. This National Historic Landmark was designed by Robert Reamer and completed in 1904. It is the perfect example of "parkitecture", which seeks to achieve harmony between architecture and natural surroundings.
