The red and white lighthouse of Quoddy Head State Park marks the easternmost point in the United States. From there, savor the magnificent view of the Canadian island, Grand Manan, and maybe even a whale if you're lucky. The park is riddled with hiking trails that allow visitors to explore the forests and swamps, as well as a superb coastal path, some 8km/5mi long, that boasts stunning panoramic points of view over the sea and the granite cliffs.
