At a height of 27m, a glazed barrel vault tops the galleria covering the basin of Hay's Dock, now filled in. The old tea, spice and other exotic commodity warehouses now house shops, cafés and restaurants. A monumental kinetic sculpture by David Kemp, The Navigators, recalls the sailors who once berthed at the quayside.
