The Ten Thousand Years Pagoda dates from 1997 and opens out onto a small statue of Guanyin. A wooden staircase leads up to the fourth floor, from where one can contemplate Lijiang, the old and new towns, Black Dragon Pool and the mountains in the distance. Each level houses arts and crafts exhibitions. The terrace under the pagoda also commands a beautiful view over the rooftops of the old town, ideal for watching the sunset.
