From the main entrance of Wat Phra Non a flight of steps leads to the terrace of the ubosot, of which only the imposing laterite pillars remain, interwoven with tree trunks. To the rear, the high walls with narrow windows mark the wihan, from where a pedestal which once housed a seated Buddha can be seen. Resting on a square base, a large octagonal chedi stands to the back of the wihan.
