Before Mucuripe Port was constructed (1940-1980), boats used to draw alongside the tip of the Ponte dos Ingleses, a metal pier at the entrance to Iracema Beach. Today it is used by passers-by, who lean on the illuminated handrail as they admire the sunset. You can buy snacks from the kiosk and perch at the tables set up here.
