A very pleasant road runs down the Ourika Valley (named after the river that flows through it) starting in a verdant and open landscape of orchards, and then shifting at Aghbalou to more hilly terrain heralding the Oukaïmeden. Stop off at one of the restaurants dotting the way, or if you get a chance, try catching a trout in the Ourika's fish filled waters!
