Opened in 1957, this osteria in the heart of the historic centre is one of the town’s leading restaurants for anyone wanting to sample the cuisine of the Aosta Valley. Delicious regional specialities such as cured meats (often served with the famous Fontina cheese), polenta and cheese fondue, meat fondue, and rustic polenta cake with goat’s milk ice-cream are all prepared with the best ingredients and served in a simple dining room with plenty of character. The excellent wine list focuses on the Aosta Valley, with over 100 different labels, many of which are also available by the glass.
